Our Little Ninjas Program (ages 4-8) focuses on improving basic listening and motor skills. This will help them enter society with more confidence, becoming better students at school, better listeners at home, and having more optimism and ambition towards the future. The early years are crucial in a child's development, and so we believe our program should encourage positive development in a fun and motivating way.
Our Junior Program (children ages 8-12) focuses on the education, as well as the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our children. Our program captures student's attention using interesting, and enjoyable methods to teach skills they can use for life. We promote non-violent resolutions to conflict. More than any other sport, Martial Arts gives our children the chance to explore their innate powers, and marvel as they increase in strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. Physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of value skills, both mental and emotional.
Our Advanced Program (youth ages 11-13) consists mostly of students that have graduated from our Little Ninjas program, and have strengthened their skill set. Whether your child is just beginning or an Intermediate, KIMA LEE Taekwondo School wants their first Taekwondo experience to be a great! Our Korean Martial Art Philosophy instills confidence and discipline within your child while guiding them to become better listeners. Through positive encouragement and a fun learning environment, your child will look forward to every single class. The Advanced Program consists of kicking, punching, and blocking techniques that are safe and fun for children. Our skilled black belt instructors captivate students through high energy classes, while focusing on self-respect and the fundamentals of Taekwondo.
Our Teen Program (ages 13-16) is designed to deliver total fitness. With this comprehensive training structure, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility will increase. With new approaches to understanding physiology today, this specialized regiment assists in the development of strength, flexibility, balance, and co-ordination.
Teens learn to protect themselves physically and mentally against common teen issues like (cyber) bullying and peer pressure. The Teen Program will help young adults increase their self-confidence and improve their focus and attitude at school and at home.
